The Context:

Hadn't dined out either in Islamabad in ages and was up for a burger specifically. We were fasting that day and decided to try if Anatummy is up to the hype.

Review

We arrived at the restaurant with minutes to spare from the maghrib azaan. The staff came to us soon enough and when we told him we need to iftar they were empathetic and sped up our order. We had no clue of what to order as they were all gimmicky, medical names. I understand that it's a doctor themed restaurant and they have to name things accordingly, however, the descriptions weren't helpful enough for me a decision on what to eat or what the best item is. We were candid with the waiter and all things items were decided based on his recommendation. To his credit, he did ask us some basic question to figure out our 'flavor profile'. Interesting? sure. Effective? no.

The loaded fries order & two water bottles arrived immediately as we needed something to break our fast. Good for us but it did lead me to believe that this item might be rather low effort. The fries and all were decent though, simple taste. Nothing to write home about or talk negative about. Now for the main burgers, Two people means we split the burgers and each eat a half. The waiter was reluctant to cut them in half, citing it would 'ruin it' (??). We pressed on and said if anything wrong happens, we won't complain. And guess what, they cut it perfectly in two. Weird resistance from the waiter' side. The beefy doopler was a regular beef burger but it tasted of nothing, it was just beef which wasn't evenly cooked. Grey on the middle and it was still pinkish on the outer sides. It just tasted of beef. Regardless, the bun was soft and the meat went down easily as well. The dopamine bun however was a 'novel' experience. It felt like someone took the white sauce and seasoning of an alfredo pasta and put it into a burger. And it was intentionally on the spicy side (It was mentioned on the menu with a flame icon). Some of the 'sauce' in this burger fell on my plate while eating and it just looked like pasta. Maybe this is what someone wants to eat but I wouldn't recommend this to others.

Final Verdict - 3/5

Overhyped for sure. If the waiter recommended these two burgers as their best then I can't imagine what the rest of their 'medically named' burgers taste like. If someone is in for tasting some interesting flavors, you can go here. The ambiance and seating was good. For the price, the serving size was alright. (+1000 PKR for a double patty beef burger which is standard)

P.S. Even though this experience wasn't great, I'm not against going here and trying something else. I'm curious to see if they're better or worse.

P.P.S. I wanted to mention that the peach tea that they served was the most generic machine 'Nestea' peach tea that you can find in university cafes. I might be wrong but that's what it tasted like. It's not a bad taste, just generic.
